[Cable] Factory reset not working on DCM476

1. Do a ipconfig /release in the command prompt on your PC before disconnecting it from the modem. This releases the DHCP lease.

2. Power off modem (as you don't want it to see your PC MAC again!)

3. Wait that 5-10 minutes.

4. Connect PC to router, connect modem to router. Power on modem.

If it still fails after step 4, clone the MAC address of the PC to the WAN interface of your router. Note: This doesn't cure the cause of the problem, only the symptom by making that router thinks that your router is the PC.

    How does one go about actually changing a setting with this modem? The default gateway GUI is less than useless.
