I'm trying to change the DNS entry on my DCM476 when I enter
192.168.100.1 all I get is the modem's diagnostic page. How can I
access the modem page where I can make changes?
Your modem just gives unfiltered Internet to the next thing plugged into it. That would be your router. Change the DNS in your router and everything plugged into the router will get that DNS. The instructions you linked are to change the DNS only on a Windows XP PC.
Need help setting up your router with their DNS? Try this: »www.unblock-us.com/how-to-set-up/
Please try that first. If trying everything that has to offer fails hard, so we can attempt to help then, which router do you have?
DCM476 does not have settings you can make changes to.
ReplyDeleteI want to load open source FIRMWARE or JTAG this fat bitcvh ?
ReplyDeleteload the DNS within your router or your computer.

Log into your router @ 192.168.10.1, go to Network > WAN setting > and under DHCP Setting enter your unblockus DNSs into the DNS Servers and apply.
